Taking place in West London over the summer bank holiday, the Notting Hill Carnival has become a major event that attracts every year more than one million people. Considered one of the icons of England, this sensational street festival is the largest in Europe. Led by London’s Caribbean community, the Notting Hill Carnival offers not only a colourful parade made up by dancing performers with their impeccable costumes, but also awesome live music and delicious street food.

Every year London presents a variety of music festivals during the summer, but the Eastern Electrics Festival remains a must-do for all techno and house lovers.
The festival owns a well-deserved fame for bringing to London the magic of techno music with a hint of Ibiza vibes. Located in a lovely park just half an hour from central London, this year the Eastern Electrics Festival boasts an impressive number of musical artists such as Jamie Jones, Alan Fitzpatrick and other appraised DJs.

Rooftop Film Club
The Rooftop Film Club combines the possibility of enjoying a remarkable view of London with the advantage of a superior outdoor cinema experience.
This summer the club is broadcasting both iconic and new movies from three of the capital’s most alternative rooftop venues in Peckham, Stratford and Shoreditch. Yet in August only two locations, Peckham and Stratford, seem to offer film screenings. Titles vary from older cult movies such as Notting Hill, Back To The Future, and The Breakfast Club to new releases (Three Billboards, Lady Bird, and Isle of Dogs).

For those of you thrilled to experience an alternative, romantic night in London listening to some cult pieces of classical music in a lovely church, Mostly Mozart by Candlelight is the perfect choice. The admirable Belmont Ensemble orchestra will perform in candlelight the concert with Peter G. Dyson as a conductor.
Listening to Mozart’s Piano Sonata n° 8 in this architectural jewel is surely alone worth the price of the ticket.
